As soon as I spoke with Paullette Thomas at 911 Knoxville Decontamination Services to ask for her help, I felt an enormous sense of relief and could exhale. I had found myself in a situation where I had no idea what to do. I needed to clean out my sister’s house outside Knoxville so that she could return home to live out her last days, having been diagnosed with end-stage cancer. I’m almost 2,000 miles away in Phoenix, Arizona. This was a hoarder situation. My sister had been hospitalized for over a month, and the house was in dire condition. Paullette immediately understood the problem and began to formulate a plan to fix it. She took a team of 5 remarkable employees to the house on the first day. Over the course of several days, they not only cleared the house of all contents, but they also scrubbed walls, kitchen cabinets, appliances, and every inch of the bathroom; replaced flooring; removed snakes and other pests from the front porch; replaced window coverings; and made the house livable for my sister. My sister is back home now, with her cats, where she wants to be. This is truly a gift from Paullette and her employees. Paullette kept me updated by phone calls and texts throughout each day to help me make decisions. Her empathy, compassion, and many kindnesses were boundless. Importantly, she made this transformation work for me financially. I was very lucky to have found Paullette’s company through a Google search. I have already given her name to the care facility where my sister was before returning home; to her hospice team; and to her attorney. They all now have Paullette’s name to give to people who are looking for these services. If you suddenly find yourself in a situation needing cleaning and decontamination services for whatever sad reason, you have found the right people and the right company. I will never be able to adequately express my gratitude to Paullette and her team.

Paullette and Dennis were awesome. I was a hoarder for 4 years after I had some major health problems. The trash built up as I was not physically able to clean my house. They were reasonable on the price and got my house to a point where I can start cleaning it deeply. They are totally non-judgmental so if you feel to embarrassed to ask for help DON’T. It’s major league overwhelming and you don’t know where to start. I now can calmly and confidently clean my house thanks to 911 Decon. They have given me a major part of my life back. If you’re a hoarder call them. They will help you get your life back.

I am so very glad I found this company! Paullette was such a sweet lady to work with. She made sure she understood everything I needed done. And Dennis was fantastic! He walked through the house with me asking what I wanted desposed of and cleaned. He would call me at work, if he came across anything he was not sure whether to keep or get rid of. And he did a walk through with me, when they were finishing up, to be sure they had done everything to my satisfaction. And their price for the job was very reasonable compared to other places I had checked with. If you need a clean up, this is the business you need to work with! You will NOT be disappointed!

Crystal and her team! They are amazing! I was honestly feeling hopeless once I saw our rental. It was I'm the worse shape. I have never seen anything like that my renters had left. We had hired 911 Knoxville Crime Scene after the passing of my father in law. He had passed a day or so before he was found. Paulette was easily reached by phone and very caring. We did not want to go into his place until cleaned professionally. I called on Monday, Tuesday they were out to evaluate and Wednesday they came back to take care of the job. Removing furniture, cleaning and disinfecting the area. And finally the did an odor remediation leaving the place fresh. Dennis and Peter were wonderful technicians. Very personable guys. They moved quickly and did the job my husband and I just didn't want to bear. Their pricing was very reasonable as well. I would recommend this company. They were great!

She told me not to be embarrassed and to realize that I had chosen to do something about the situation and that was what mattered. That stuck with me. She explained the initial assessment which was done by Dennis who is an amazingly kindhearted gentleman who also made me feel as though everything was actually going to be alright. After the assessment Paullette worked out a plan of the work that was going to be done explaining everything in detail so that I understood how we got to the estimate. Paullette was so wonderful throughout the entire process. The Team consisted of three exceptional individuals (Dennis, Crystal and Pete) whose dedication and commitment and genuine care for other people is evident in all that they do and is to be commended. They worked so hard and went above and beyond the call of duty. These people truly are a blessing. I could not have imagined such an experience - it is life altering. The weight has been lifted. No matter what your situation be I implore you do not be afraid. They do not judge you - they truly want to help you. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

They are a multifaceted business, but I specifically used them for a hoarded home clean-out. The team I worked alongside of (Dennis, Crystal, Danny, and Pete) were incredibly kind and hard working. Paullette, who oversees operations, was easy to get ahold of and answered any questions I had throughout the process. Truly one of the most professional companies I've ever dealt with. Obviously this is not a company that sees a lot of calls from people who are having a great time in life at the moment and they know that. They're so so patient and courteous, and genuinely nice people. They went above and beyond cleaning my fathers house, and even repaired a few things that were not in contract just to help us out. Any service that's required by law most people are going to gouge you for as much as they can but these guys are really reasonable and fairly priced. 10/10 company

I’m not sure that I have ever had a better experience working with a company than I had working with 911 Knoxville. I cannot recommend them enough. They were so compassionate and generous during an extremely stressful and difficult situation. Every single person that helped was incredibly kind and they busted their butts to get as much done as they could. It felt as if friends and family were helping us. I really can’t say enough about how great they are. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Everyone I have interacted with was professional, courteous, thorough, and caring. The owner is also a wonderful woman, very kind and happy to help people and meet them halfway whenever possible.
Their prices are extremely reasonable, and the value for the work they do is incredible.
Overall, I cannot recommend these people strongly enough, for jobs large or small!

This team was absolutely fantastic. They were so warm and friendly. They managed to both turn my nightmare of a living situation in to a home again, and uplift me by speaking to me as if I were a long time friend. I would recommend this team and their service to anyone who needs help. The absolute care and diligence in making sure that they create a space that they would want to live in is at the forefront of what they do.
